Outdoor Area

In the Kinderinsel garden, you will find an area for the nursery children to play that includes a sandbox and toys. For the kindergarten children there is an area to garden, a soccer field, sand area and adventure pit, a slide and jungle gym, swings and lots of room to run and play.
The sand play areas are shaded during the summer months.

Lower Floor

  • Spacious lobby with room to play, large wardrobe area with room to play, two bathrooms with changing area and large water lagoon, two playrooms that can be separated and each with a block and role-playing corner, two arts and crafts rooms, and four nap rooms.
  • Staff room (conference room, main office, staff wardrobe)
  • Kitchen

Upper Floor

Age-mixed group with 55 places:

  • Spacious wardrobe area
  • Block and building room, large playroom with role-playing corner and tables for games
  • Quiet room for reading, listening to audio books or music, looking at fish or cuddling
  • Arts and crafts room
  • Homework room
  • Play and relax room for the older children
  • One bathroom for the kindergarten children
  • Separate bathrooms for the school children
  • Large gym with climbing frame; at noon the gym is used as a nap room for the kindergarten children
  • Complete kitchen suitable for cooking projects with the children

We are bilingual

All facilities of the Siemens Corporation are bilingual, meaning that both German and English are spoken at all times in the facility. We work with the Immersion concept; children are surrounded by both languages, spoken to them by German or English-speaking teachers who remain in their language.

How to find us

Either:
From Nuremberg Thon with the city bus 30 to Erlangen to the bus stop Erlangen Süd. Walk across the bridge and go northwest toward Friedrich-Bauer Straße 9.

Or:
From Erlanger train station (Bahnhofsplatz) walk in an easterly direction to Hugenottenplatz. From there take the city bus 293 to the stop Roncallistift. From there, go northeast and turn on Friedrich-Bauer-Straße 9.
